Project Objectives
1. Contribute to the empowerment of women within Cuban sports: By promoting women's participation in running and walking events, we aim to contribute to the empowerment of women within Cuban sports.
2. Promote physical activity among women: We aim to encourage the organized and spontaneous participation of women in physical activity, improving their health and quality of life.
3. Foster an inclusive environment: We will ensure that the event is inclusive, allowing women with disabilities to participate and promoting a culture of acceptance and respect.

Event Details
- Date: March 8, 2025 (International Women's Day)
- Location: Havana, Cuba
- Events: 2 events will take place simultaneously:
- Popular 5km race
- Distance race (10km)
- Number of participants: 100 women
- Inclusive race: Women with disabilities (physical, motor, intellectual, auditory, or visual) are encouraged to participate.

Services and Offers
In addition to the racing events, the following services and offers will be provided:
- Recreational sports and physical activities for families: We will offer recreational sports and physical activities for families accompanying the women, promoting a fun and inclusive environment.
- Medical assistance and support: We will provide medical assistance and support for participants, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Hydration and nutrition stations: We will set up hydration and nutrition stations along the racing routes, providing participants with the necessary resources to stay hydrated and energized.
- Cultural activities and exhibitions: We will organize cultural activities and exhibitions promoting women's empowerment and Cuban culture, providing a unique and enriching experience for participants.

Partnership

Lobey Art & Travel will collaborate with Mujeres con Alas to support the organization and execution of the event. This partnership aims to:

- Promote people-to-people contact: We will promote people-to-people contact between US citizens and Cubans, fostering greater understanding and cooperation.

- Support civil society: We will support civil society in Cuba, promoting women's empowerment and community development.

- Enhance contact with the Cuban people: We will enhance contact with the Cuban people, promoting cultural exchange and understanding.

Expected Outcomes
This project aims to:
- Empower women within Cuban sports: We will empower women within Cuban sports, promoting their participation in running and walking events.
